Our Story 📜

It all started in 2014 when I was told by my husband that his friends were coming over for a BBQ. I had no clue what I was doing. I just thought of the quickest desert to make that will go down well after a big feed. Little did I know it wasn’t the quickest. Took me 2.5 hours to coat just 40 strawberries in plain milk chocolate and then to dip them.

What was I thinking? Will everyone enjoy them? Will the chocolate taste good? Will the strawberries be fresh? What about if someone says something negative? Will hubby be disappointed? these were the only few questions that were running through my mind, until one of the blokes commented on how fantastic, fresh and delicious they were. The whole plate of 40 strawberries that took me 2.5 hours to make was gone in 2.5 minutes. It was then and there I thought to myself that I wanted to start my own business on one side as I was already working 9-5 as a 2IC in radiology. 2014. I, Seyhan, a young 24year old have officially started the business Strawberryqueen. So much blood sweat and tears went into that year building myself as well as the business. I

2015. 1 year Since Strawberryqueen has been running. 3 months since I just started to get the hang of things and things were going really well. Business was doing well until I found out that I was expecting my 1st baby. I had to make a decision whether I should continue or not. So I did, unfortunately I stopped. I gave it up..
I didn’t return until 2020. In that whole 5 years I have given birth to not only 1 but 4 more babies. All Praise to God.

2020 StrawberryQueen has become official and back in the game.

This time it wasn’t a BBQ, It was to celebrate Eid. I just wanted to see if I still was able to coat strawberries and pipe them, to my surprise it was better than ever. This is the day I decided im not giving up, this is a Sign from the Almighty that I should continue and not to give up on your dreams of being your own boss and having a successful Business.

2023 StrawberryQueen has catered for over 500 events, Catered for so many individuals' needs & wants, corporate you name it. Proud to say Queen makes her very own chocolate mix and that there is the most unique part of SQ. Every box that is created, Every tower that is put together is made with love. Every work will have attention to detail in it, Presentation is one of the most important things to Seyhan and SQ delivers that.



I love visualising, creating and bringing it to life. This is my art. This is my passion.
